First Official Meeting TOMORROW

Hey Guys
Tomorrow is the first "official" meeting for science olympiad in rm 814. Make sure to come by if your are interested in learning more about the club and bring friends.

New Year

Today was the first meeting of the 2016-2017 school year!

The meeting was focused on fundraising. We need ~$300 to register as a team for the actual events, so we need to raise this money through various methods. After brainstorming possible sites for fundraising, members were assigned businesses to contact for information by the next meeting (which is September 9th).

For those who were here, find out if they'll let us fundraise (we're a relatively small club), how much money we'll receive, if we can pass out flyers at the door, etc. Get the registration forms for the fundraiser if applicable. We need a few weeks to get the fundraising idea through ASB and the office, so we can't start fundraising immediately.

SUPPLIES REMINDER

This is just a reminder that supplies lists are due TONIGHT. If you do not send us a list, it will be assumed that you do not need supplies and will be covering them on your OWN cost. And for those of you interested, we have about $300 budget for supplies. If we have money left after supplies, we can use the money to buy study guides for our events. Have a great week and see you all on Friday for testing.

Final Events List

Hey Guys,
So after all of the member changes and confusion, I have a FINAL schedule for everyone. Please remember that the events will not change. I do understand that some people may not know their event, and it isn't their final choice but we needed people for the empty events. Mandatory Meeting this Friday 1/15

The issue about having too many members is still not resolved, so we will be having another mandatory meeting this Friday (in Ms. Hrezo's room 814 at lunch).
