Recap: Meeting 10-23-15

+Popcornopolis forms are out, so we can start fundraising Monday. Please contact us if you did not receive a Popcornopolis brochure/order form. Our goal is to sell 10 bags each, or one party pack!~

T-Shirts and Meeting

Meeting tomorrow in Ms. Hrezo's room!~ Please bring T-shirt money. ($15 per shirt!) 

It's important to attend tomorrow's meeting! Again, this is the ONLY time to buy T-shirts.

**Please note : T-shirt costs aren't final, but are definitely $15 minimum. This amount may change due to unaccounted costs, but it shouldn't be much of a difference and we'll let you know. Thank you, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Events

Hey Everyone,
Attatched to this post are the events for this year's competition. Please look over your events throughout this week. If you have any problems with you events, please talk to one of the officers at the meeting, this Friday. However, if you do want to change your events you must have a acceptable excuse. We will not change your events, if you simply don't like/know your partner or have not been partnered with a friend. We picked partners based on who is the most apt for each event. Tomorrow- officer meeting

Meeting Update Information

The meeting this week will still take place, albeit "unofficially". We will meet outside of Ms. Hrezo's room at lunch on Friday 10/2. Come to pick up events if you're missing any of the descriptions, or to notify us if you would like to change/add an event, etc. Thank you!

T-Shirt Poll

Hey Guys
In order to make picking t-shirt designs efficient and organized we have created a Google Form, so you can vote online. Here is the link: T-shirt Poll. Please have all responses in no later then this Friday (9/2). We will be announcing the results at the next meeting. If you guys want to change the design a little bit, Jacob is open to suggestions for improvement. Have a wonderful Sunday and see you this Friday. The room might be changed as Mrs. Hrezo is not here this Friday at lunch. We will notify you of any changes by email, instagram, and twitter.

Hope you all are having a great weekend. Here is the link to the Science Olympiad Events (link has been removed) list. This is not the updated manual, so some of the events are no longer available. If another event interests you, please email valeciascienceolympiad@gmail.com, so we can change your events. Also, we do need more people for build events so please try to see if one of them interests you.

Meeting Recap 9/25

Hello everyone! Our meeting yesterday was a little small, so here's a recap for anyone who missed it and needs the information:

We....
1. passed around the sign in sheet of course, and announced the officer positions (congratulations, Shantanu and Jacob!)
2. discussed events - please email valenciascienceolympiad@gmail.com if you have questions or want to change your events. (We will be posting descriptions of all the events on the blog, so check that for more info.)
3. talked about T-shirts. Jacob designed two alternate patterns for the t-shirt. (They both look great!) We will have a google forms up later so please submit your votes (:

Choose Your Events!!!

Hope you all are having a great long weekend. Here is the link to the Science Olympiad Events Form (nah its gone from here too).
Be sure to fill out this form before the next meeting. Also a quick update on interviews for officer applications, interviews will be held on Friday (9/11) at lunch in Rm. 814. There will be no meeting this Friday, only interviews. Don't forget to BRING YOUR APPLICATION to your interview.

I just wanted to remind everyone that we have a meeting tomorrow in room 814 at lunch. Be sure to come to learn more about the club and officer positions.
